Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley
Veronica Butler, 27, and Jilian Kelley, 39, from Hugoton, Kansas, went missing while driving through the Oklahoma panhandle to pick up Butler’s children for a birthday party on March 30, 2024. Their vehicle was later discovered abandoned on a rural highway in Texas County, Oklahoma, roughly 11 miles south of Elkhart, Kansas.
Five individuals, Tifany Adams, Tad Cullam, Cole Twombly, Cora Twombly, and Paul Grice, have been arrested and charged with murder.
Tifany Adams, who is the grandmother of Butler's children, had custody of the children and was involved in a contentious dispute with Butler over their custody. The bodies of Butler and Kelley were found buried on a farm leased by Tad Cullum.
