Brierlie Walters
Brierlie Walters was a 39-year-old mother of three living in Oil City, Pennsylvania with her live-in boyfriend, Brandon Richard Wells.
On the afternoon of May 5, 2022, Oil City Police were dispatched to the home they shared at 12 Mineral Street in Oil City for the report of a deceased woman. When the first officer arrived, he was met in the doorway by Wells who warned the officer that "this is going to look suspicious."
The officer entered the dilapidated house, walked upstairs, and found a blue stainless steel drum positioned at the foot of the bed in the main bedroom. The officer lifted the towel covering the barrel's opening and found Walters, deceased, naked, and facing downward.
Wells was arrested and charged with criminal homicide and other drug-related and child endangerment crimes. The trial took place in August of 2023. He was found guilty on all counts.
